He speaks

Well, he's getting there.

Beck hasn't really been one for speaking English, but recently he's saying what I'm telling him to say. You probably don't think he's talking very well, but I can totally hear that he's trying to repeat what I say. Here's a video. I like how he says Bop for Beck and nanana for banana.

Along with mastering the spoken word, he's trying to master his utensil skillzzz.

Christmas

Beck got some cool things for Christmas (not from us. he got a box of crayons from us.).

Look at his new beanie. We call him a Spartan when he wears it.

I thought he would for sure pull these slippers off since he always pulls his socks off, but nope, he's a fan. We call them his moon boots or his uggs.

See the thing Matt's putting together? It's a cool rocket. Beck liked my old stroller much better. Babies are weird.

Happy New Year

Beck didn't love his New Year's hat.

Poser

Our friend gave us the makings for a snowman (other than the snow), which included a little scarf. I tried it on Beck, and he liked to pose for the camera. I'm gonna post all the pictures because they show how he kept posing, and they make me laugh. I think his spaghetti stained his face, what do you think?

Faker

When I was taking Beck's 16 month pictures the other day, he was in a fake laugh mood.

Random Beck Videos

Sorry, I was shaking the camera because I was doing the same dance back.

We always keep this bathroom's door shut because we keep Olive's food and water bowls in there to keep away from Beck. Whenever we leave the door open, Beck runs in just because he can. He used to get upset when we'd make him leave, as shown in the video.

Yeah, those are sounds of joy.

Trying out the snow gear in snow, instead of inside

Matt took Beck out to sled on the small amount of snow we had. (I'm not complaining. Stay away, you stupid snow.)

Ha that's a sad amount of snow.

Olive tripped Matt with her leash. I wish I got that on video.

Sad to come in.

These are kinda boring, but they're mostly for my mom.
Oh, and I love how Olive's peeing at the end of this video.

After, he sat down and had a nice graham cracker. I tried giving him hot (warm) chocolate in his sippy cup, but he didn't go for that. In fact, he threw it down so it leaked onto the carpet. Thanks, bud, like our carpet doesn't look bad enough! It's ok, I still love you.

Yeah, that's my handrail. I had just painted it and the hardware, and it was waiting to go back home to the wall. And you can see that I haven't finished painting my door. Ha. I could go on about at least two other things in this picture.
