This picture was a hit on Facebook. I love everything about it. His glasses. How they're askew. His arms hanging at his sides. His leggings that Matt only lets him wear as pajamas. The stoic face. It's a good picture.

Happy Halloween (Finally)
Obviously I haven't been into blogging lately. I really need to, so I'll try to post a lot until I get current.
Another thing I'm not into: planning Halloween costumes. I'm sure things will change when Beck actually understands Halloween and gets excited about it. The night before our Halloween party at church, I was trying to figure out what he should be. The last two Halloweens we already had hand-me-down costumes (does last year's pajamas count as a costume?), so I didn't have to even think about it. Well we went to different stores, trying to get inspired, but nothing came. Well, actually, Old Navy had a monkey costume, and Beck looked adorbs (I love trendy vocab. I'll try to work in cray cray sometime.), but right after I took a picture of him in it, he wanted it OFF. So no go.
Finally I got the idea that he could be Clark Kent. Easy. Just his little vest suit thing + superman shirt underneath. I bought a blue shirt and used a freezer paper stencil to put the S on. Matt found an old red shirt and went as Tobey Maguire. I mean Peter Parker. I kind of wanted him to be bad/cool Peter Parker (is that #3?) because I like how he dances as he walks down the street, but bad Spidey had a black suit, so that wasn't going to work.

showing his muscles
I think he had been crying. And Matt looks especially skinny, so I'm sure he doesn't love his picture.
It took at least two shampoos to get that black hair spray stuff out of Beck's hair, and we still missed some.
In other Halloween news: We bought a bunch of little pumpkins, and Beck and I decorated some with Sharpies. I'm pretty sure he is a lefty. I've thought about forcing him to be a righty, but according to The King's Speech, that causes stammers.
The End.
You again.
Our apartment is small and ugly and kind of gross, so I haven't been in the mood to decorate and really settle in (this is supposed to be a six month deal, and we're halfway). There's random stuff everywhere, such as a mirror in the entryway. At first Beck thought it was pretty interesting to look at himself all the time. We still catch him watching himself as he does things. It's pretty funny. Here are some pictures and videos of him when it was still new.
