Beck pretty much walked across the whole living room today. Not in one straight line, but he would fall, get up, and try again. Right before I got the camera out, he walked pretty far. He'll be a walker soon!

Friday the Thirteenth

Beck turned one on Friday the 13th this year. I decided to be nice and make him pancakes in the shape of his name. (Idea stolen from my cousin Lori.) He wasn't into it. At all. Probably cause they looked crappy.

Then I took pictures to show what a one-year-old looks like. It looks like this:

I know, this is really late, but here are my favorites from this month's photoshoot. My mom was helping me photograph the model, and we wondered if he's scared of the gorilla. So maybe this year we'll have a new prop. I guess I need to find one between now and then. Any ideas?

- Some things that have happened recently: 1. Matt attempted to drive into the garage with his bike on top of my car; 2. Beck threw up for the first time, and it was in a store. My arms are too short!

I never realized babies' arms were so short until I had my own baby. It's been pretty entertaining. I always said we should take monthly pictures of how high his arms can reach, but I never followed through. Maybe next baby.

My mom and aunt had a photoshoot at my aunt's house in her studio. (studio=hallway) There were so many good ones.
