Dog + Baby
Everyone wondered how Olive would react to a baby being in the house, but I wasn't too worried. It ends up that I do have to protect Beck from Olive, but it's because she kisses him too much.
This is especially funny cause she goes to town on Matt's ears all the time.

Shall we start at the beginning?
I was scheduled to be induced 8 days before I hit 40 weeks because I had polyhydramnios, which means I had more amniotic fluid than what was normal. I went in on August 13th at 7 am and got started. I dilated all the way to a 10, but he never came down enough. I pushed for a while and then took a break. During the break, my epidural started wearing off of my lower back so the anesthesiologist had to come back in and pump me again (yes, I had a catheter to give myself doses, but for some reason I guess it just stopped working on that area). After that I started pushing again. I mentioned that my heart was beating fast, and then the nurse saw my heart rate on the screen but didn't believe it. But it was right. At one point it got to 222, and the nurses got nervous. The funny thing about that was that my mom was in the hospital at the same time, and her heart rate was 41. We like to be extreme. My doctor ended up coming to the hospital, and she had me lightly push once to see what my heart would do. It started going up again, so she said nevermind, we aren't doing that. So into the OR we went. And here we are...
